We all have let insignificant moments overwhelm us. At times, the pressures of life create an uncomfortable state of anxiety. After climbing and descending from Mount Washington in dangerous conditions, Brandon's heightened perspective reminds us that the focus should be on where you’re going and what the solution is. The importance of perspective informs the ways we can pivot from focusing on the stress we are experiencing to visualizing our end goal. It's not just about pursuing business goals or financial goals but also about pursuing goals of things that matter to you.
I’ve been thinking about the importance of not only focusing on your strengths, but also dedicating yourself to things that will have a big impact on you, based on your goals.
When I have a big project, I need to know exactly what I need to accomplish it. No matter what it is, whether it's in business or life, business and life are both adventures, make sure that you're planning and you're executing perfectly.

While I have always been entrepreneurial, there are so many things that I wish I would have been told or that I wish I would have known prior to running my now global organization of Avrio Genetics.
One of the most challenging things people go through is getting to the end of the year and saying, "I'm going to set New Year's resolutions for myself," listing those resolutions and then never doing them. The reason that most resolutions don't ever happen is because there’s no plan. You write down these goals (AKA resolutions), but you don't actually have a plan for how you're going to get there.
You should always be focused on your strengths and getting better at what you're strong at, rather than spending all your time identifying and improving weaknesses.
If you take the time to visualize your goals, you will see amazing results.
Did you think you had to have everything figured out? Well, that's not true! You can take steps toward your goals without having every single thing planned out. Trust me, I've been there.
