I think as a fanbase it’s best that we all just move on from what happened Saturday night for FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium. Though, that’s easy to say if you weren’t there. 23,000 folks got the raw end of that deal on Saturday night. I don’t blame you for being upset. The best way to get over crappy results like that is to have a quick midweek game to forget about it. It just also happens to be the biggest game in FC Cincinnati’s short history. Get downloading folks!

Highlights from this week’s show.

Boston, Ken and I recap the crazy result from Saturday night that saw Djiby sent off in the first half after accumulating two yellow cards. We each had our own takes on the matter, some might not be popular with FC Cincinnati fans.

We are joined this week by Nipun Chopra from SocTakes.com. Nipun has followed Division 2 soccer and the NASL quite closely the last few years. He gives us the scouting report on FC Cincinnati’s opponent Wednesday night in Miami FC. He also discusses with us the potential of USL and NASL merging someday. If you don’t follow Nipun on Twitter, you are really missing out. You can follow him @nipunchopra7.

Matt Adamchik called in to talk about the Welcome Home event folks are planning to celebrate FC Cincinnati’s return from Miami on Thursday. Get to the baggage claim area at CVG around 3:30 if you want to participate!

Despite Wednesday night’s big game, FC Cincinnati has another tough match at home on Saturday night against Orlando City B. We give our predictions in this week’s Growler Cup.

What a weekend for FC Cincinnati. First, they had to deal with not one but TWO weather delays on Saturday night. Plus, 48 hours later they faced off against Valencia from Spain’s La Liga. All while celebrating the football career of Omar Cummings. Oh yeah, I painted up too. What a weekend! Get downloading today!

Highlights from this week’s show.

Bill, Boston and I recap a very crazy Saturday night. From 90 degree heat to lots of lightning, there was a lot going on during FC Cincinnati’s match against Harrisburg City Islanders. In the end of FC Cincinnati prevailed thanks to goals by Djiby, Konig, and McLaughlin. Even more awesome was that Mitch Hildebrandt notched his 10th Widmers Cleaners Clean Sheet of the season!

I was a man of my word and yes I actually painted up this weekend. It was an absolute blast this weekend and more importantly, FC Cincinnati got the 3 points! My thanks to Ben Knapp who waxed me. Thanks to Tom Grabo who painted me. Thanks to Chris Weimer for painting up with me. Thanks to Stevie for entertaining me during the weather delays. If I missed thanking anyone, I’m sorry, just know that I am thankful for everyone!

We also talked about the retirement of Omar Cummings. What a career the Big Cat had. From his MLS Championship in Colorado to now, it’s been quite the ride. Congrats on calling it a career!

The Valencia game to many was a dud, many thought it was amazing. It’s odd to see how polarizing this topic has become. The CST crew discuss whether or not this is something FC Cincinnati should do every year or maybe space it out between years. What say you?

On this week’s show, we take a look back at the big River Cities Cup match between FC Cincinnati and Louisville City FC. A game that saw FC Cincinnati put 3 goals on Louisville and give them their first home loss of the season. We also look ahead to Harrisburg City this coming weekend. Plus, I make another announcement on the podcast. Get downloading folks!

Highlights from this week’s show.

We welcome in Ben Knapp into the CST mix. You may recognize Ben as the genius behind the Skills Challenge video we posted a few weeks ago. You can watch it HERE. Boston and Yosief are along for the ride as well this week. Boston fully admits to possibly throwing a streamer onto the outfield warning track at Slugger Field. How dare he. We looked back at a solid performance by FC Cincinnati despite going down a goal inside the first 10 minutes of the match.

No guests this week but we did take a lot of great and let’s face it funny calls this week. Tom Grabo from RGFK.org called in. You know Tom as the Cincy Super Fan. Tom will be painting me up this week for the Harrisburg City Islanders match because of me losing a bet just like Bryan Weigel. I’ll be honored to paint up with Tom and Chris Weimer from the Bailey Bastards. Should be a great time this weekend. If see me say hi!

We look ahead to the match against Harrisburg. It was kind of nice this week on the podcast to only have to talk about two matches for once.

In this special edition of the podcast, Byran and Seubs hang out during Wednesday nights lengthy weather delay in Florida. Unfortunately for many of the traveling supporters the match was postponed due to the poor conditions.

This episode is the longest episode in CST history. Many many great things happened in this episode. Tom Gelehrter called in, Jeff Berding called in, we heard from Papa Seuberling, Bill Wolf, Matt Long, Chris Weimer, Ben Knapp, Ryan Fowler from http://OhioMemories.com, just to name a few (and if I didn't mention you, I'm sorry! There were a LOT of callers tonight).

What’s up CST’ers!? Who’s ready for a big night in Miami on Wednesday night? Who’s ready to thrash that team down south on Saturday? On this week’s show we’re visited by the very talented Lindsay Patterson who you’ve seen roaming the sidelines and getting great interviews on TV and Radio. Get downloading folks!

WE HAVE AN EPISODE CAPTAIN THIS WEEK!!!Huge thanks to Jamie Smed for wearing the armband for this episode of Cincinnati Soccer Talk. YES, even you can wear the armband in a future episode by signing up to support us today!

Highlights from this week’s show.

Bill, Brad, Boston and I recap the 2-0 win over the Richmond Kickers. It was the first time in franchise history that FC Cincinnati has gotten all 3 points against the Kickers. Djiby pretty much put the match out of reach in the 3′ minute with his quick strike goal off a great assist from Kenney Walker. Give credit to Richmond though, they kept it close till the wheels fell off late.

Lindsay Patterson is a talented, versatile, energetic broadcaster and has been on the airwaves for quite some time. She’s midway through her 2nd season as the FC Cincinnati sideline reporter for TV and Radio broadcasts. Lindsay took a few moments out of her very busy schedule to join us on CST. It was great to hear how she approaches matches, what goes on during the match, how she gets access to the team, etc. She even drops a bombshell about Skyline Chili. It was great having her on and can’t wait to do it again.

We got some great callers, as we always do on CST. Our old pal “Bill Grindesto” gave us a ring this week. Love hearing about his weekly shenanigans.

Hard to look past Louisville City but with Miami FC tomorrow night man does this weekend’s game really kind of get forgotten? Louisville City is the further thing from my mind at this point. I’m sure that’s the case for the boys in orange and blue too.
