The year Warner Bros. had a mega hit with "The Exorcist," they also sued a 27-year-old indie director and possibly destroyed all existing prints of his terrifying possession flick, "Abby." Currently only sourced from poor quality tape via YouTube, Archive.org and bootleg DVD, William Girdler's unjustly persecuted classic deserves to be found, restored and celebrated.
