This week, we ring in 2022 with two of the biggest and most highly anticipated blockbusters of 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home and The Matrix: Resurrections. To help us sort through the future of franchise cinema, at least as it relates to these two films, we bring in special guest Matt Farley of Marvel Guides. Together we dive deep into both films and how they each tackle the legacy of franchise filmmaking on a massive scale.
