Reviewed: A Minecraft Movie, WARFARE

I’m gonna level with you Jawheads… this is the most violent, bloody, and (frankly) undigestible episode of CinemaJaw ever: The Minecraft episode.

That’s right, we’re punching trees into oblivion this week, and that’s just getting started as Matt K and KP review Jack Black’s new A Minecraft Movie.

Speaking of the Jackster, Matt and Ryan thought this would be the perfect time to discuss their top 5 Jack Black movies! Spoiler alert – no, Be Kind Rewind does not make it and KP have a stern talking with the boys after recording. This injustice has not gone unnoticed.

And… if you can believe it… we’re still not done kiddos. We even have ONE MORE REVIEW!!!! Ryan got out and saw the new realistic combat film: WARFARE. You know you’re only gonna hear about a children’s video game and the actual Iraq war on CinemaJaw folks, and you can put that on a T-shirt.

Oh my god, and as I’m writing this, I am only now realizing I didn’t even announce we have a NEW MONTHLY THEME!?!?! Tune in to find out (or read the blurb, but c’mon dude… don’t do that).

Reviewed: Death of a Unicorn, Ash Novocaine, Magazine Dreams, Locked

Spring has sprung and we couldn’t be happier at CinemaJaw! And to show our appreciation, before stepping back for Spring Break, we are delivering a **FIVE MOVIE** Review-O-Rama! You heard that right. FIVE MOVIES.

Ryan gives us his takes on the horror/comedy Death of a Unicorn, the trippy sci-fi Ash, the balls to the walls action Novocaine, the character study drama Magazine Dreams AND and the cat and mouse thriller Locked.

None of these movies are like each other, so we like to think there’s a little something for everybody here.

Reviewed: Snow White, The Electric State

Disney has done it again and brought one of their classics back from the grave! Except… this re-animated cadaver is doing the “Modern Disney” thing where… it’s actually not even re-ANIMATED. Matt, Ryan and KP were all able to check out Snow White and that’s a review you won’t want to miss!

In addition, Matt and Ryan checked out one of Netflix’s latest – The Electric State! It stars Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, and is directed by none other than the Russo Brothers.

What’s more – we’re dusting off our battle axes and re-animating a segment of our own (see, you’re not the only one’s who can do that Disney). This episode marks the triumphant return of: CinemaWAR! The boys fight over how good the Russo Bros really are, and they leave the final call in Mama KP’s… capable… hands.

It’s jam-packed! It’s always jam-packed. You people know this by now! We know you’re gonna love it.

Reviewed: Black Bag

Steven Soderbergh delivers his second film of the year with the spy thriller Black Bag. Matt & Ry review that and give a couple film pairings to go with it. We also take a deep dive down on Cate Blanchett’s filmography with the treasure or junk segment. Lastly, we play some spy movie trivia. Lots here to enjoy

Reviewed: Mickey 17

MattK makes his triumphant return to the podcast. That he decided to come back on the episode in which we are discussing clones is a bit suspicious. If Mickey 17 can have two Robert Pattinsons, why can’t Cinemajaw have two MattKs? We review Bong Joon-Ho’s latest film and we discuss the finest movies that have clones in them. We also get around to playing some movie trivia. This episode is a lot of fun, so sit back and enjoy.

Reviewed: The Monkey, Cleaner, Riff Raff, Last Breath

We have another Review-o-Rama on our hands. Four big reviews including the newest Stephen King adaptation, The Monkey. We also discuss the new Daisy Ridley film: Cleaner. Plus reviews of Riff Raff & Last Breath. We also kick off Cate Blachett month in style. It’s a lot of Jaw.

Reviewed: Captain America: Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, The Mosquito Coast

With the Oscars fast approaching, we make some predictions this week on the podcast. In addition to that, we have an impromptu top five Renee zellweger movies. We also review her latest film. Bridget Jones: Mad about The Boy. Lastly, we have a retro review of The Mosquito Coast starring Harrison Ford. You’ll be mad about this podcast. Enjoy!

Reviewed: Captain America: Brave New World, Paddington in Peru, The Gorge

We have another Review-o-Rama on our hands.  The three movies we discuss are Captain America: Brave New World, Paddington in Peru, and The Gorge. We also take a look at the “Harrison Ford non-franchise collection” in a new segment titled: CinemaJaw’s Treasure or Junk Roadshow. As always it is a jam packed Jaw. Enjoy the Show.

Reviewed: Heart Eyes, Companion, You’re Cordially Invited, Love Hurts

Love is in the air this week Jaw-Heads. We have 4 big reviews for you with relationships and love factoring into all of them. But it is not just about love. These films also have horror, action and sci-fi thriller vibes. We look at Will Ferrell & Reese Witherspoon’s Amazon Prime film: You’re Cordially Invited. Ke Huy Quan’s latest action film: Love Hurts. The Valentine’s Day slasher: Hearts Eyes. And finally the Sci-Fi Thriller: Companion. Grab a loved one and turn up the volume, this episode is a lot of Jaw!
