In episode 129, Tony & Eddie sit down to talk about all things small, and big - in the fantasy meets reality flick, I Kill Giants (2017). This is an original film with beautiful visuals, a great cast and some fantastic young actors. However, the boys may not recommend it to everyone. You'll have to tune in to find out why.

This week the boys also sampled beers from Fat Head's Brewery and Southern Tier Brewing Company. If you like a Belgian Dark Ale and you're a fan of Fat Head's check out this episode for a review of Sorcerer. If you enjoy the lighter, perhaps more sour end of the spectrum, Tony's review of Mango Crush by Southern Tier could save you some chips or embolden you to take some sips.

In episode 128, "Y'Us Queen", Tony & Eddie get out their gold scissors and red jumpsuits and they sit back to discuss Jordan Peele's sophomore outing, Us (2019).

The boys were huge fans of Get Out. They loved the world, the off-kilter reality that was described. And, they loved the showcase of Peele's talent as a writer director of last year's breakout flick. The question is - did Us live up to that?

There's amazing stuff in this movie. From visuals, to dialogue and acting. No doubt there. Tune in this week to find out more about the boys thoughts on this one.

They also sampled two new beers. One from Lagunitas called, Equinox. One from Left Hand Brewing called, Push Pop Party Nitro. At opposite ends of the spectrum, one very hoppy and one very sweet - there's a lot to think about if you're going to head out to find your own. Listen to this week's episode for the brew reviews.

In episode 127, Tony & Eddie skip the film review and talk just beer. Well, beer with the usual spattering of video games.

For the very first time ever you'll also get to hear their Producer/Editor Josh speak in this episode. It turns out that Eddie's prep for this episode, which included practicing the pronunciation of a new brewery, turned out to be the wrong Russian word/wasn't the name of the brewery anyway.

Tony went for a responsibly high ABV Stone IPA that you've got to hear about if you're a fan of the brewery (and, I mean, who isn't?). He was in love with the smell of this beer and if you know Tony, you know that's a very big deal. If you like sweet, boozy stouts like Eddie, he'll tell you about a fantastic on here in the episode. Cinnamon, vanilla, lactose - it's all here and it's all great.

In episode 126, Tony & Eddie check out Brie Larson out there kicking cosmic ass in Captain Marvel (2019). The boys love a great comic flick, as all you Cinefantics know...but did Captain Marvel scratch that itch? How did the most powerful character in the MCU fair? Would the boys recommend this one to mima? Tune in to find out!

Aside from commenting on photon blasts and 90s pop culture references, Tony & Eddie also sampled some new beers from Grist House and New Belgium. This was a win across the board on the beer front. Grist House's Carrot Cake inspired sIPA series didn't disappoint. Neither did New Belgium's Liquid Paradise IPA. It's summer and you know that means the boys want sweet, dank, hoppy brews. In episode 125, Tony & Eddie sit down to talk about the fast paced, thrill packed, abundantly twist filled flick, Bad Times at the El Royale (2018). Are you a fan of a heist film? How about an action flick with powerful female characters? What about deeply character driven plot points? Or... did you like the TV show, LOST? If any of those answers are "yes", the boys think you might not want to miss out on this Drew Goddard film.

They also sampled new brews from Levante Brewing Company and Elysian Brewing Company. If you're an avid listener, you know that Eddie loves Christmas, and of course he loves a good Christmas beer. Plum diddly, by Levante is a fruit and spice infused imerpial stout that really jingled his bells. Tony sipped on an American Pale Ale from Elysian called Salute the Sun. This low alcohol Pale with black limes was an interesting combo. But he wasn't ready to call it a favorite.

In episode 124, the boys watched Netflix's re-release of the Toronto film festival winner and Brie Larson directed film - The Unicorn Store (2017). This coming of age, mid-life crisis tale is packed with whimsy, and glitter, and witty dialogue. There's some humor. There's tons of cute. And there's a compelling character or two as well. Ultimately, The Unicorn Store sways back and forth a bit, dangling out in the winds of comedy, drama and in between, however.

In episode 123, Tony & Eddie take another crack at a Netflix original flick. This time is, Triple Frontier. A critically acclaimed task is up on deck in this one. And, who doesn't love a heist flick? Right?

There is a lot of "good" things going on here? But, the big question is - will Triple Frontier be the first Cinemantics "3"? Tune in to find out!

The boys also tried beers from Founders and a west coast beer from Ale Industries.

In episode 122, Tony & Eddie skip the flick and only sip. They sample beers from Founders brewing and Captain Lawrence Brewing company. This is an exciting episode from the brew front - there's a new brewery here (for the boys at least) and a beer that Eddie raves about so much that it could be one of the best he's ever had.

If you like barrel-aged sours or chocolatey sweet stouts - turn in for this one!

In episode 121, Tony & Eddie bring to you a Cinefantics film choice - Dark Tide (2012). This celebration episode marks the 10K listens milestone and the boys thought they'd let the listeners pick between the "best" movies of all time or the "worst".

Have you ever heard of Dark Tide? Well, based on that answer, you can probably figure out which side of that poll won.

Dark Tide is a 0% Rotten Tomatoes film. It's got a tough to swallow plot, bad villains, ify relationships, an ending with no actual resolution and none of the characters actually experience an arc. But...hey, maybe it's not that bad?

In episode 120, Tony & Eddie finish (even though they said they wouldn't) the M. Knight Shyamalan "super" hero trilogy with a review of Glass (2018). The bar was low going into this. Split wasn't reviewed well on the show, but somehow, Glass still found many ways to disappoint further. This was an unfortunate ending to a lackluster story that just didn't deliver in the end.

The good news is, this show isn't just about movies. It's also about beer. And on this episode the boys samples some real winners. This week we've got a bourbon aged stout from Weyerbacher and a milkshake IPA from CB Craft Brewing. Don't miss out on these two gems.
