  • Am I Dreaming? Someone Grinch Me: The Grinch (2018), Lagunitas Brewing & Silver City
In episode 109, Tony & Eddie talk about 2018's remake of Dr. Suess', The Grinch (2018). There's a lot here to take in. New Grinch voice talent. New Grinch scenery. New Grinch motives. New Grinch...music. If you're a fan of the original Grinch from 1966, the boys think you might want to check out this fresh new edition. It's different, sure, but it captures a lot of those nostalgic feels from the original. They were both pleasantly surprised by this one.
Also in this episode, Tony tried a new brew from Lagunitas and Eddie had one from Washington State based brewery, Silver City. Listen to this week's episode to catch their reviews.

  • (Mini) Episode 108
In episode 108, Tony & Eddie talk about what it means to "pour hard." And play hard...maybe. This week we've got two new beers and in typical mini episode fashion, no film review.
If you're a fan of Victory Brewing company you'll want to tune in to hear Eddie review Storm King. This imperial stout really packs a bitter punch. But...in a good way. Tony sampled a new nitro stout from Left Hand Brewery. If you're looking to get through the continued winter wallop - then check out this newest episode to see how the boys are sippin' through the snow.

  • The Preddening: The Predator (2018), Voodoo Brewery & New Belgium
In episode 107, Tony & Eddie talk about the newest edition of the Predator franchise, The Predator (2018). We wanted more from this film. Way more. But there's some things to like here. Maybe not to love. But to like, for sure. Listen this week to get the details on this horror/comedy/sci-fi combination.
We also sample beer from Voodoo Brewery & New Belgium Brewing. There's some fantastic brews from both this week. Don't miss out!

  • Tom Hardly as Venom: Venom (2018), Sierra Nevada & Fat Head's breweries
In episode 106, the boys talk Ruben Fleischer's Marvel film, Venom (2018). This film had multiple writers, multiple reshoots, at one time had a different middle and end. It was originally cast with a different lead as well. All that back and forth, the starts and stops, among other things - makes for a bumpy ride.
There's images/fight scenes here that non-fanboys/girls may like, but the haphazard Venom clone villain (it's not Carnage) and another even less inspiring human villain don't make for a compelling dynamic.
The good news is there was still beer. The one great constant on The Cinemantics. The boys tried brews from Sierra Nevada and Fat Head's.
Check out this week's episode for details on the booze and the bumble of a film, Venom.

  • (Mini) Episode 105
In episode 105, the boys talks about a beer, and ... that's it. It's a true mini episode. If you love Deschutes Brewery or Dogfish Head Brewing, listen this week to get some details on some delicious beers.
We also talk a lot of video games this week. Celeste and Call of Duty Black Ops 4, specifically Blackout. If you love either of those, check out this week's episode for more details.

  • Split Splat Splut: Split 2016 - Stone Brewing & Mortals Key Brewing Company
In episode 104, Tony & Eddie take multiple sides in their discussion about M. Knight's Split (2016). The original intention of reviewing this film was to prep for the upcoming Glass film, but the boys have to admit that they might not ever what that after seeing this 2016 thriller.
The good news is, there was some solid beer choices this week. They sampled new beers from Stone Brewing Company and from Mortals Key Brewing.

  • BLANDersnatch: Bandersnatch (2019): Stone Brewing Company
In episode 103, Tony & Eddie sit down and talk free-will, choice, adventure, the 80s and of course, beer. That's right, folks this week they reviewed the Netflix original, Bandersnatch (2019).
There's a ton to digest here. And it's not just because there's several ways this 'choose your own adventure' flick can go. It's a Black Mirror gig, so there's social commentary galore here. On some levels, the boys liked that. On others, they thought it just didn't work. Find out more by checking out this week's episode.
The boys also got back to beer in a big way this week by sampling the crown jewel of the Stone Brewing Small Batch series, Xocoveza Charred. If you've not had an opportunity to try this beer to-date - get out there and find it.

  • Slanntah Montana Came in like a Winter Ball: The Night Before (2015)
In episode 102, Tony & Eddie finished their 3rd annual Christmas Extravaganza, with a look into the classic, the delightful, the potentially meh film, The Night Before (2015). There's a lot to digest here, mostly drugs, dick jokes, bloody nose drips and more, but at the core of this movie is a thread of truth about love, friendship, getting older and of course - the Christmas spirit. This flick completes our Christmas guilty pleasure picks for 2018. If you dig Seth Rogen, JGL or Anthony Mackie - maybe this movie is for you.
As they've done each December episode this year, the boys sampled two new Christmas cocktails. We talked Simple Old Fashioned and Beam & Coke this week.
Tune in for more info and some Cinemantics standard banter about booze and you you know...dick jokes.

  • Jingle Some of the Way: Jingle All the Way (1996)
In episode 101, Tony & Eddie review a classic? A cliche? A quintessential? A core Christmas movie? Jingle All the Way is on many list. But maybe none of the good ones. Do you love Arnold and his quaint little family here? Maybe you're a die hard SInbad fan? If you agree with any of the previous - this is the episode for you.
The boys are continuing their Christmas Extravaganza again this week so we hope you tune in for some holiday hijinx. The cocktails this week didn't disappoint, so if you're a fan of the Hot Toddy or the Old Fashioned - tune in for some interesting takes on the recipes.
    Thanks for listening, Cinefantics!

  • Harry and Kumar Go to White Christmas: A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (2011)
In a very special 100th episode, the boys continue their yearly tradition during the holiday season but with a twist. They're still reviewing a Christmas flick (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas 2011), but this time, for the very first time, they've got a special guest on the show.
A long time friend, Mike joins Tony & Eddie as they talk about heart, weed, nudity and low brown humor. There's a lot to digest in Harold & Kumar, but a big part of that is the argument for the holiday spirit this lewd movie embodies. It's got it all - really.
As they move through December, the boys continue to swap out homemade cocktails for their usual new craft beers. This week they created and sampled Espresso Martinis and Cranberry Gin & Tonics. Tune in this week to get a review!
