In episode 119, Tony & Eddie skip the movie review and hone in on some delicious beers from Erie Ale Works and Southern Tier Brewing Company. The IPA market is about as saturated as it comes - so how do you stand out? Listen to this weeks mini episode to find out if these beers do just that!

In episode 118, Tony & Eddie dance and sing and ... OK, they don't do any of that, but they do talk about the newest reboot/revisit from Mary Poppins. In Mary Poppins Returns (2018) Emily Blunt takes on the role and although she doesn't disappoint, the film itself doesn't exactly live up to the nostalgia the boys had for the original. There's good stuff in this film, it's just watered down most of the time.

The boys also tried a new, cleverly named (of course) beer from Evil Genius and another from Grist House. If you love sour beers or hip names on your brews - this is the episode for you.

In episode 117, Tony & Eddie get into the multi-dimensional, multi-facited, multi-hero'd Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse. If you've been on the spider-coaster with the rest of us over the years and you were thinking about sleeping on this iteration of the web-slinging teen - don't. This movie is a fantastic ride from start to finish and we couldn't recommend it more. Check out our gushing reviews for this beautiful animated film.

On the flip side, the beer this week wasn't what the boys were looking for. There's two new brews reviewed here and although these are both excellent breweries with killer track records, these styles ultimately didn't end up on the boys' must-try list like the movie did. In episode 116, Tony & Eddie sit down to discuss DC's Aquaman. With their expectations as low as possible. With their apprehension in the clouds... were they shocked? Did they love Momoa? Was Amber Heard a standout? There's a lot to digest in this long winded, epic "water park" ride (you know, instead of "rollercoaster"?). Join us for some talk of big fights, big ideas and big ... pecs?

In episode 115, Tony & Eddie talk about the latest Fantastic Beasts installment, The Crimes of Gindlewald. They get into the good the bad, and the wonky. Ultimately, the film packs in the HP feels, but not in the same way the first Fantastic Beasts did.

The boys also talk two great beers once again. If you like Belgians or fruit beers, or if you're a hop-head that's getting close to wanting to take a break from IPAs due to saturation....you might want to hear about this week's beer choices.

In episode 114, Tony & Eddie talk two new beers - one from Sly Fox and one from Founders. In this mini episode, there won't be a movie review. So we dig down deep into the brews. Sly Fox was a new one for the show (we think) but this coffee porter stood up to our test. The other beer, KBS from Founders, is this years release and just like in years past - you don't want to sleep on this one.

In episode 113, the boys sit down at the bar to chit-chat about the 'ol days. In, The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then Bigfoot, Sam Elliot, reminisces about the war, past loves all while hanging out with his favorite dog. This movie delivers on its title. It's very strange title. But, in the end this film really isn't about either of those events in this man's life.

Tony & Eddie didn't love this movie. In fact, there's a fair amount of dislike mentioned here, but there is something about this movie that generates a lot of talking points. It's about Hitler and Bigfoot and love and growing old and forgiving yourself and many many other things. So many that the main thread ends up lost a bit. But still...maybe you should watch it...?

The boys drank new brews from Left Hand Brewery and Sierra Nevada this week. There's some great reviews here for both beers. Some excellent and unique choices this time around.

In episode 112, the boys finally get around to reviewing, The Edge of Tomorrow (2014). It seems like just yesterday... maybe it was yesterday. Or tomorrow. Anyway...it wasn't long ago when Tony and Eddie reviewed a series of Time Travel movies. They both wanted to make sure one of those was EoT but it just wasn't in the cards. So, here we are.

On most levels, this is a fantastic sci-fi flick. It's packed with action. And not just action but with Cruise-action. There's a somewhat interesting alien. There's time travel. There's mechanized Ironman-ish suits. There's Emily Blunt. We could keep going, but we won't. If you loved this movie or needed a little more convincing to finally watch it yourself - check out this episode. Yes folks, there's spoilers-a-plenty here.

In episode 111, Tony & Eddie talk about Ryan Gosling's portrayal of the problematic protagonist/maker of history, Neil Armstrong in, First Man (2018). The boys joke about spoilers here - because we all now how this flick ends - but there is drama. There is tension. There is some worthwhile moments in this movie.

Would the boys put their total seal of approval on this one? Did they love it? Did it pass the mema test? You'll have to tune in to find out.

Tony also sampled a new/another beer from Sweet Water Brewing this week, and Eddie took a crack at a new Left Hand Brewing selection.
