Here it is!  This movie is the entire reason we began this sidetrack and honestly, it has been a fun ride!  Spiderverse is one of my all-time favorite movies and it is don't with such detail and love I can only think of one thing that did it better, but in some ways Spiderverse is incomparable...have I given away how I feel about this movie too much?  Well we have a gues so come get their opinions!

Much like Spider-man 3, they just tried to cram too much in...but thankfully this marks the end of lesser quality spider-men for the foreseeable future!  

We have made it to that lasagna loving, Monday hating, dog abusing........oops wrong one.  The Garfield era, though short-lived was a lot of fun in my opinion and since I write up these blurbs you will deal with my opinion!  Beth and I come away mostly liking this one.  It does something better and some worse but this is still pre-MCU when a mediocre superhero movie was the norm!  The biggest take away is near the end....chant with me oh masses, "One of us, one of us one of us....."

And now we come to the end of the Maguire movies.  And because of what they did, I am glad to be moving on.  Tobey, you were my first but you weren't my best.  Beth and I spend much of the review wondering why they thought putting all this into one movie was considered a good idea and lament the waste of some actually great ideas.  And we see really what sets the MCU apart here as there is a lot of stuff introduced but not set up or paid off well.

Next, we will continue with spiderman releases so Beth and I can replenish our recordings.  Hope everyone is staying healthy!

This is a fairly straight forward one which is sort of odd for us.  I'd be worried about the audience being bored if Beth wasn't super tired and loopy, we all know those episodes are the best.  But that means there just isn't much info for this space.  On more Maguire movie then ONTO LASAGNA!

We continue on our superhero journey and sidestep a little to explore some of the spiderman movies.  All April we will diverge from our regular MCU movies to check out the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies.  Don't worry we are going back, but as Spider-Man is the best and it's Chris' Birthday Month you will deal with it!  It turned out to be a lot of fun and Beth loved all of it (no matter what she says!)  I'm also using this as an opportunity to try some new things with our 'next time' section and some new music.  Finally, I would love for you all to leave reviews if you can!  I try not to shill for them much, but it would really help us be seen while so many people are at home anyway so take a couple seconds and do that for me please!  If you do and you email me about it ([email protected]) there will be a special treat!

"If you get killed, walk it off."

We have finally arrived!  The second team-up movie has come and gone, but we are still standing.  Amidst this trying time with the coronavirus and all the shutdowns it has been great to continue to see these movies with Beth and share them with you.  Beth was very tired in this episode which means there was a lot of digression content that just was not appropriate so hopefully nothing is too jarring.  Overall this movie gets a bad rep and I don't think it is deserved.  Come along to check out the various moments and hear the upcoming April Special! 

We return to space to see how the guardians are doing before the next big earthbound showdown.  We laughed, we cried, we had overall a good time so come check it out and then please for the love of Mike someone send in an email for Beth so she will shut up about it!

This is the one we have been waiting for, or at least Chris has.  Possibly, his favorite movie of the entire MCU and it was a nail biter going in as Beth's enjoyment has been a little hard to predict.  However, we have made it out the other side and the show will continue next time with Guardians 2 and then our next team-up video!  And then...have we got a surprise in store for you!
