Were talking about our children.
The Cinemoddities children.
Are those the kids that were left behind in the restaurant?
Are those the kids we've birthed through unnatural channels?
Listen in to find out.
What if Michael Myers was on a submarine? That wouldn't be worse than Jason Voorhees in space, now would it?
Episode 244 - The Substance (2024)
We keep the Monstober flame alive with a discussion about the 'The Substance', directed by Coralie Fargeat! Prepare yourself!

Episode 242 - Goosebumps (TV Series)
Nothing can stop us from bumping the geese. Listen in on our annual tradition of persevering through the "poorly produced" 90's kids' show known as "Goosebumps".
We rope someone new into the fray, just so Zack can indoctrinate a new person into our cult of Kathryn Short & Long coming at us Hard & Fast.

Episode 241 - Piranha 3D (2010)
Now that Monstober 2023 has officially begun, what better way to kick it off than with a discussion on a movie that is basically soft-core smut? Even with the gratuitous male gaze of the cameras this film was shot on, it somehow comes across as something akin to "Saving Private Ryan," oddly enough. But what do Rob & Zack have to say about the indeterminate age of our main characters? Why do all the adult actresses get killed off? Is this Jerry O'Connell's best performance? And Jason Bateman looks horrible!

Episode 240 - Goosebumps (TV Series)
It's that time of the year again: the soft opening of Monstober 2023! And as we do every year, we kick things off with another discussion of the Goosebumps television show. This time, there're phantoms, dummies, and Star Wars references. But which came first, Gaston Leroux, Wishbone, or Goosebumps? Can we get on the Fractured Families television show? Did Clint Howard deserve the final MTV Lifetime Achievement award? Listen in to Rob & Zack putting another few drops in the bucket in the entirety of Goosebumps to find out!

Episode 239 - 30 Days of Night (2007)
What a time to be alive! We're back, kicking off a new series whose theme we're playing coy with! Join Rob & Ben as they discuss "30 Days of Night", which turns out is...pretty great! But what did Rob expect from this movie and what did it turn out to be? Why can't Melissa George close her mouth? Does Ben Foster give a better performance than in "The Mechanic"? And how big is the franchise surrounding this movie? Listen in to find out!

Episode 238 - Matilda the Musical (2022)
We'd love to say that we have saved the best in the remakes series for last, but that is not the case. Tune in to hear Rob & Ben discuss the recent musical adaptation of "Matilda"! But why does Rob think this movie fails as a musical? Do Tim Minchin's sensibilities bleed over into this movie? What words deserve to be censored? Is Ben too far gone? Listen in to find out!

Episode 237 - Total Recall (2012)
Continuing on with the disappointment that is Rob & Ben covering remakes that are not as good as their originals, it's the 2012 remake of "Total Recall"! Sadly, Dean Norris does not make an appearance in this series. But why does Ben spearhead the Len Wiseman fan club? What impersonations will he be bringing to his next interview with the director himself? Should this movie have been recalled due to E.coli? Listen in to find out!
