The end of the Canada West winter sports season has arrived, and the Thunderbirds took home some hardware for their efforts.

Womens and mens swimming win the U-Sports Championship for the 4th straight year; all six of our basketball, hockey and volleyball teams played in the Canada West playoffs; and men’s rugby, baseball, and softball all have pre or mid-season action. There’s a lot happening.

UBC women's hockey standouts Tory Micklash and Mikayla Ogrodniczuk show leadership in the booth and reminisce over fond hockey memories as seniors, talk student-athlete life, and address women's college sports + volleyball and hockey are in playoff time while softball and baseball seasons are fully under way.

This past week the Thunderbirds found some late-season success in hockey, women’s volleyball cruised to a bounce back weekend, women’s rugby 7s came out second in a crowded tournament field, golf exploded on the final day of their tournament, and track and field took part in the Jerome Games at the Richmond Oval.
