God is rarely in a hurry and normally makes us wait. This week Jeremy DeWeerdt talked about the importance of waiting well. The word “wait” means to look for, to hope, and to expect. The waiting is where the molding, shifting, and carving happens. In the season of waiting, we learn to trust God! What are you waiting on God for?

God has a vision for your life. This week Lisa Seaton talked about having a God vision for 2020. You don’t have to come up with the vision, you just have to receive and accept the vision God has for you. Vision is the bridge between where we are and where we’re going. In 2020 let’s allow God to be the guide of our life.

God has placed in each of us the desire for growth and success. This week Derek Staaland talked about the importance of meditating on God's Word to succeed and prosper. Meditating on God's Word will advance you toward achieving the purpose He has created you for. Meditating on God's Word simply takes one verse, one minute, and one night at a time.

The celebration of Christmas could be summarized with this statement, “God is with you!” Pastor Jeremy Deweerdt spoke a powerful message this Christmas reminding us that God deeply cares about each and every one of us. His love for us is never ending no matter what our life and circumstances look like. Let’s be reminded that the true meaning of Christmas is that greater things are ahead.

New life is possible at any time for anyone! This week Pastor Ryan Leak reminded us that the Christmas story continues to give hope to humanity. That new life can be birthed at any moment. God is still in the business to do the impossible. God isn’t looking for the most qualified and put together, He is just looking for our willingness. This Christmas season and New Year let’s have a mindset up expectation and anticipation for what God can do.

For many of us it feels like everything in our world is heavy. This week Pastor Jeremy talked about how we can find joy in the heaviness. Joy can supersede the heaviness going on in and around us. We need to be living from a joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus. We need to have an expectation that God can and will do great things. We need to have an expectation of joy.

There is a real stress we feel around the holidays. The pressures we feel are brought in by the culture of Christmas we have created. This week Jeremy DeWeerdt talked about how we can declutter Christmas and find peace and rest in the season. It begins with stillness. Stillness starts when we step away from the noise, the to do list, the electronics, the craziness and instead find moments of silence with God to hear His voice. So this Christmas season, let’s find time to follow God’s command and be still.

God has a dream for you and a purpose for you that is good. Pastor Jeremy talked about living a legacy life. We all have God given dreams that He will reveal to us and it is our responsibility to walk in them. Living out a legacy life is all about influencing others for Him. It will require sacrifice and generosity and it starts today!

What we do matters and has an eternal impact. This week Pastor Jeremy talked about how heaven should be our motivation to live a life of legacy. God will use all our generosity, love, and sacrifice to impact heaven. When we live a generous life to impact others, God meets our needs and blesses us in return. Let’s live a life that is generous, making a difference, and leaving a legacy for a heavenly purpose.

We all are apart of God’s equation to influence and make a difference in the world around us. This week Jen DeWeerdt spoke a powerful message reminding us that we all have a part to play. It starts with meeting a need that you see. We are all qualified, worthy, and deserving to partner with God to help His people and kingdom. God will use our story, gifts, talents, and abilities to not only bless others, but in return bless us.
