What are you building with your life? This week Pastor Jeremy talked about building a legacy with our life. Legacy is a life lived beyond ourselves. In order to live a life of legacy we need to stop focusing on the problems and start focusing on the greater purpose of our lives. Let’s be people who live life with intentionality.

God’s grace activates a strength in you to embrace new life. This week Pastor Jeremy spoke about God’s grace that helps us change. We need to stop trying to do life on our own. We think it’s Jesus plus our good works, but really it's just Jesus! Life isn't about the do's and don’ts, instead it's about listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you and obeying Him.

Grace is what helps you run your race. This week Jeremy DeWeerdt talked about God’s empowering grace to help us through life. Grace gives you the energy and strength you need to battle through the tough seasons. It will help you overcome the hardships or struggles you are facing. God’s empowering grace will give you what you need to get through whatever season you are walking in.

Grace is not about the work we are trying to do, but the work Jesus has already done. This week Ryan Leak spoke a powerful message about God’s grace that He freely gives to us. We don't receive credit for the good things we do or judgement for the bad things. Instead, if we call Jesus our savior we get grace for free. Grace is receiving credit for what Jesus did on the cross for us.

God’s grace, freely extended to each and every one of us. This week Jeremy DeWeerdt spoke about God’s amazing grace over our lives. Grace is getting what we don’t deserve. Grace compels us to stop hiding. It motivates us to change. God knows everything and sees everything we have done, yet He still loves us no matter what!

We live in a world where bad news spreads faster than good news. As a church, it is our mission to stand in the gap and spread the good news of Jesus. Ryan Leak gave us three important components that will help us complete this mission as a church. We need to have a spirit of boldness, a spirit of reconciliation, and a spirit of generosity. We each have a part to play in growing the kingdom of God.

Do you have a vision for your life? The answer is YES! As long as you have breath in your lungs, you have a God given vision for your life. This week, Jeremey Deweerdt spoke about how we can grab ahold of that vision and walk it out. We have to be willing to talk to God in prayer and listen to Him speak by reading His word. We have to SEEK out the vision and embrace the risks it will take to walk in it.

Genesis 2:18 tells us that it is not good for man to be alone. This week Chad Bruegman talked about the importance of relationships and life groups. Life groups create a place to build trust, build community and share your story. God has called us to have each other's backs and help protect each other's stories. Together we can celebrate the good, honor the bad, and with compassion and empathy, listen and understand the ugly.

Real life is found when you prioritize people. This week, Jeremy DeWeerdt used the movie “Hacksaw Ridge” to illustrate the importance of being reaching out to help the one. Let’s be people who have an awareness of the needs around us and take ownership in helping. We need to have an urgency to look at people around us and realize we are part of the solution.

God can turn anyone’s life around, even those who are despicable. This week Jeremy DeWeerdt used the movie “Despicable Me” to remind us that God loves us unconditionally no matter where we are at or how “despicable” we are. God wants to help you change. He not only wants to be your God but He wants to be your FRIEND! He is knocking at your door. We just have to listen for the knock and be willing to open the door and let God in.
