We are drawn to people, experiences and lifestyle choices because they seem familiarity. As we become too familiar we can also lose a sense of value due to proximity. Is it possible to become too complacent with God because of His goodness? God's blessings can become so familiar that we loose the reverence and awe for the Lord. The debt, shame and guilt  that covered humanity was larger than life, but redemption was on its way. A King was born to bring salvation to the world.
