We no longer have to sing the tune to our own song. We can now sing a new song in surrender to the Lord. As we give God the rightful position as King, Lord and Savior of our lives he puts a new song in our mouth.

God is worthy to be praised. The Lord reigns is a strong theme throughout the fourth book of Psalms. Despite our circumstances and the outcomes around the world, the Lord's throne is still established. From everlasting to everlasting the Lord reigns.

We have the power to take the song that never ends and turn it into the praise that never ends. If we change our song we can shift our circumstance. It is much easier to see life happening to us rather than happening for us. We learn from the perspective of David in Psalms 13 and Paul writing to the Philippians. We get to feel our emotions but we refuse to make it our home.
