• God has already provided deliverance and direction, you just need to see it.

• Four Mercies:

o The mercy of another opportunity. Just like Zachariah, He gives additional opportunities (even when we blow it). He is not done with you, no matter what you've done.

o The mercy of proximity. God desires to be near us and He does that through Jesus. *He came from heaven to be near us.* We should not avoid God out of guilt and shame, that's what the enemy wants. That's the opposite of what God wants.

o The mercy of consistency. What God says He will do...He does! God has not and will not change His perspective concerning you and His love for you. (Something the Lord spoke to me: Stop expecting those you love to be consistent like God is. They can't do it, they're not God). **Sometimes we live in the promise, sometimes in the fulfillment, and sometimes in between. But God's timing is perfect.**

o The mercy of victory. Sin, flesh, and the devil are your enemies, not people. But Jesus gives you victory. **Stop looking at the wrong Savior. Look at the right enemy.** We have been saved from our enemies so that we can serve Him without fear.

o Mercy for me. Personalize His mercy. Salvation is the forgiveness of sins and is the greatest act of mercy. It is pure mercy. Salvation can't be earned.

Purity of a heart problem. God is not concerned by ceremonies, rituals routines, but only by a heart truly alone in him.

The question we need to ask is, am I busy doing God's work but neglecting my heart?

What is the Turning Point in our lives?

The turning points of life:

Listening to the voice of God - life turns on a voice

It says they “obeyed the voice of the Lord.”

Living well starts with listening to God’s Word

Think about all the times someone gave you advice and that was a turning point.

I am made for Him, to be in relationship with Him, to live with and for Him. My whole life is

designed to revolve around Him. So when I don’t prioritize God I neglect my own purpose. I lose

who I am.

You feel lost because you are lost. If you are not in a relationship with God at all then you are

nowhere at all. If your relationship with God is broken then you are broken. If you relationship

with God is foggy then so are you. And so on.

The futility of misplaced priority - When my priorities don’t lead to what’s best for me.
