CJOB Sports Show with Christian Aumell

There's no show February 4th because of Jets hockey on CJOB, BUT since our last show was so loaded we have a BONUS podcast for you! We're about two weeks away from the start of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in a bubble in Calgary, and Manitoba will have FIVE teams going, including two for the first time. That would be Mackenzie Zacharias and Beth Peterson, who you can hear on this edition of the CJOB Sports Show Podcast.

Receiver Kenny Lawler is back with the Blue and Gold for another season after a breakout rookie campaign. He chats about coming back to the Peg and the club's chance to repeat as Grey Cup Champs.  And Leah Hextall gives her thoughts on the Jets season thus far, including an analysis of Blake Wheeler and the heat he's been taking.

Jets radio analyst Jamie Thomas on The Jets facing Vancouver and a busy week ahead against Calgary. We also chat with Valour FC's third overall pick in today's USPORTS draft, Rayane Yesli (a super tall man who can relate to Christian's legroom woes)

Former Global News man Austin Siragusa is now spending his time reporting for MooseTV. He calls in to talk about some of the names to watch on the Jets farm club this season! And Valour FC is looking forward to the draft tomorrow. Coach Rob Gale updates us on how the team is coming together this year.

Sportsnet's Ken Wiebe on the struggling top line, taxi squad and the highly potent North Division.
