President Joe Biden is attempting a half run at a victory lap with Afghanistan by blaming the former administration, specifically President Trump, for why he up and ran. At the same time, Biden claims that it was all his decision, and he takes full responsibility. In other words, nothing new happening in the Biden administration. The speech he gave to the American people says a lot about Biden as a man, a president, and a citizen of this country.

Being president of the United States takes time and energy, two things that Joe Biden has lacked since day one. He does not have time to answer questions about Afghanistan, or time to get $85 billion worth of equipment and weapons out of the country. And he certainly does not have time to ensure all Americans are able to evacuate to safety. Instead, he trusts the Americans and Afghan allies are left securely in the capable hands of the Taliban. And yes, Al-Qaeda is back in Afghanistan, in case you were wondering.
