West Coast singer and harmonica giant William Clarke's fourth and final release for Alligator records "The Hard Way".

Released just months before his untimely departure, this album is a masterpiece,  with Clarkes' singing and songwriting  surpassed only by his  superlative playing.

West Coast jump blues at its best.
