Followed by The NBC University Theater, originally broadcast May 8, 1949, 76 years ago, The Red Badge of Courage starring John Agar. Graphic descriptions of the carnage found on Civil War battlefields, told by a boy plagued by fear but with a "red badge of courage."
Finally, The House of Mystery, originally broadcast May 8, 1945, 80 years ago, The Monster in the Lake.
