Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 3 (3.16) Recollections from Mark of his heady days working in the paradise that is... Buffalo, New York! Meanwhile, vehicles in Hollywood were being towed due to Academy Award street closures. But half a mile from Dolby Theatre? That seems a little excessive and restrictive. And not very neighborly. There's a bear in there! That is, in the KTLA news report, when the black bear snuck up on the field reporter Erin Myers as she was filming a piece... on a bear attack. Luckily, no newscasters were harmed in the making of this report. Talking tragedy with Timmy! He recalls the time when he was six months old and received a blood transfusion, with a 50-50 chance of survival. Thank heavens for the invention of the ultrasound! Tim lived long enough to see his good friend Mark Thompson receive a YouTube show. We get down with some Charlie Fox tunes to round out the hour — and what tunes they are! Also, why is Jane Fonda beefing with Barbra Streisand, and what’s it got to do with Robert Redford? Tim Conway Jr. Show Hour 1 (3.13) Happy Friday the 13th! It's hot today in LA! But Tim Conway Jr maintains his signature long-sleeved shirt, even in this heatwave. It’s because his father once lambasted him for wearing a short-sleeved shirt to work at Dick Clark Productions when he was 21 years old. Dress appropriately for work, people! It's hot in the city! Next Tuesday it’ll be 94 degrees in the Valley, heading to 97 degrees by Friday. Grocery stores are closing, which may spell the beginning of the end of your neighborhood if it happens there. They’re being replaced by meal delivery services. Vons is closing in Redlands and Los Angeles, and there’s an Albertsons closing in Las Vegas. It’s time to get out of your chair and go to your favorite grocery store because the underperforming ones are closing, which will have a negative impact on your neighborhood. Does your preferred supermarket come down to your gender?

Tim Conway Jr. Hour 2 (3.13)  It’s Forkin Friday with Neil Saavedra! What are you eatin’ this weekend, Bub?? Are pizza ovens worth the cost, or should we just get that pie home delivered? Our deep-dish deep dive into at-home pizza ovens according to king of the kitchen. The World Baseball Classic is happening right now, and Tim is rooting for Canada — how DARE he! It’s because he feels bad that the US ripped out Canada’s beating ice-hockey heart during the winter Olympics when we took gold in their national sport. Canada hasn’t won a World Series since 1993. Protein bars vs. the People? David Protein Bars has allegedly lied about the calories, protein and fat contained within one of its so-called health bars. The lawsuit filed in New York State claims the ingredient list is inaccurate and underplays what these bars contain.

Timmy feels bad for Canada because we get the best of them — Pamela Anderson, Keanu Reeves, William Shatner, Justin Bieber — while they get the worst of us! LA horse country is local to KFI in Burbank, and Tim has had some strange encounters with those equine folks. A 78-year-old Doordash driver in Tennessee who was struggling to cover his bills and medications was noticed by a customer, who decided to start a GoFundMe for him and his wife who also delivers. The GoFundMe is presently at $570,000 and still climbing! Everyone is looking for a gas discount — the price today alone has gone up by 70 cents per gallon. Start with the gas-tracking app GasBuddy. Also, use credit cards that offer points or cash back on your purchases at gas stations. No Canadian ice hockey team has won the Stanley Cup in 33 years, when the Montreal Canadiens trounced the LA Kings. So many famous Canadians have come to the US! Let’s name ’em... G Fiber, short for Google Fiber, is currently being installed in parts of the Valley and going directly to your home.

And for God’s sake, put some in your earthquake kit! Unfortunately, last night the ATM stole Tim’s card! And it became a whole kerfuffle. It's the big weekend for the Oscar awards happening in Hollywood on Sunday. Who are the favorites? Last December, the night before Nick Reiner allegedly stabbed to death his parents Rob and Michele Reiner, they were attending Conan O’Brien’s festive party. At Sunday’s Oscars ceremony, O’Brien will host, and there will be a huge in memoriam tribute to the filmmaker and his wife.

Tim Conway Jr. Hour 2 (3.12)  One of the staples of the San Fernando Valley is Casa Vega, which has been around for 70 years! Tonight our special studio guest is Christy Vega, who now runs the family restaurant following on from her grandparents. With her Covid relief funds, Christy took that cash and converted the Casa car park into a fancy, lush patio! Christy Vega grew up in the iconic 70-year-old Sherman Oaks restaurant and is keeping the delicious dream alive. Her late father Ray Vega will be honored by the community, with the nearby intersection at Ventura and Fulton being renamed after him. This unseasonable winter SoCal heatwave is a real drain, and it’s up to 30 degrees hotter than average for this time of year. Unfortunately, there’s more heat coming next week. Plus, it’s snakebite season! Be wary of rattlesnakes, especially the baby ones, which are more venomous than the adult ones.
