Then, Presenting Charles Boyer, originally broadcast July 18, 1950, 75 years ago, The Mink Coat.  Mishel (Boyer) is given a mink coat in the lobby of a theatre. The beautiful lady disappears...and the coat is alas, stolen. 

Followed by The Adventures of Sam Spade starring Howard Duff, originally broadcast July 18, 1948, 77 years ago, The Missing Newshawk Caper.  Spade is hired to find a reporter named Ray McCully. Spade finds him all right, stabbed to death!

Then, Theater of Romance, originally broadcast July 18, 1944, 81 years ago, Stage Door. Starving actresses trying to break into show business meet with success and tragedy. 

Followed by Dr Christian starring Gene Hersholdt, originally broadcast July 18, 1945, 80 years ago, Joyous Heart. A young woman tells Dr. Christian her husband has come home from the war.  But he had already been killed!  

Finally. The Challenge of the Yukon, originally broadcast July 18, 1946, 79 years ago, Preston Breaks a Rule.
