Followed by Fibber McGee and Molly, originally broadcast February 3, 1936, 88 years ago, Crime Expert McGee. The orchestra starts the show with, "Alexander's Ragtime Band." Fibber claims to be a crime expert.
Then The Radio Hall of Fame, originally broadcast February 3, 1946, 78 years ago with guests Abbott and Costello. The program originates from The Earl Carroll Theatre, Hollywood.
Followed by The Abbott and Costello Show, originally broadcast February 2, 1949, 75 years ago, Another Sam Shovel Mystery. Costello tells about the accident at his house last night. Sam Shovel solves the case of, "The Case Of The Chinaman Who Poisoned His Own Food," or, "He Committed Chop Sueycide."
Then a pair of 15 minute Fibber McGee and Molly shows. First from February 3, 1954, 70 years ago, Inferior Decorators. Fibber and his friends plan to fix up the Women's Club Servicemen's Center as a surprise to Molly. Then from February 3, 1956, 68 years ago, McGee helps with the shopping. Fibber's been spending too much and a budget is called for.
Finally Lum and Abner, originally broadcast February 3, 1942, 82 years ago. A strange character named Diogenes Smith has come to town looking for an honest man and greeting everyone with, "Wonderful World."
