Followed by Lum and Abner, originally broadcast October 20, 1941, 83 years ago, Getting Answers From the Course.  Lum owns up to the Squire about his broken leg, and the Squire becomes most indignant. 

Finally, Superman, originally broadcast October 20, 1941, 83 years ago, The Crooked Oil Association.  Jimmy Olsen (Jackie Kelk) is shot. Chaney plans to break Tumbleweed out of jail and push him into a quicksand pit.
