Some members of the U.S. House of Representatives on Friday met with Thomas Monheim, the inspector general for the intelligence community, and were briefed in a classified setting on the assertions made last year by UFO whistleblower David Grusch. Grusch, a former Air Force official, testified last year that the government has in place secret programs to retrieve crashed alien craft and reverse engineer them. Also, a proposed bipartisan bill was introduced Thursday that would provide protections to civilian and commercial pilots in reporting encounters with UFOs.
