It took a while, but I eventually got around to talking about the big task that Jim Rutherford and Patrik Allvin have this offseason to reshape the Canucks.

Then, I talked about some small bits of Canucks news, including Rick Tocchet interviewing in Anaheim, potential head coaching candidates for the Canucks, and the possibility of Tom Willander signing with the Canucks after all. I also talked a bit about the naming of a new Pope, signaled by the white smoke.

I recap the second round of the playoffs so far, as well as Monday's NHL Draft Lottery and I discuss whether or not the Canucks should trade their first-round pick. I talked new seats i Rogers Arena and then I did an unboxing of my latest prints from Gassy Jack Art.

I recapped round one of the NHL playoffs including the Winnipeg Jets' dramatic double overtime game 7 victory over the St. Louis Blues. I also looked ahead to round two., gave an update on my NHL Playoff Confidence pool, and took new predictions from the viewers.

With Rich Tocchet's departure, the Vancouver Canucks will be looking for their fourth coach in four years. I break down Jim Rutherford's remarks, I talk about some of the candidates, and most importantly, I talk about what all this means for the future of the franchise.

With the news that Mike Sullivan and the Pittsburgh Penguins have parted ways, does that open the door to a return to Vancouver for Sullivan? I also explored some of the believed sticking points in the Canucks' negotiations with Rick Tocchet.
