We took a break from Canucks talk and chatted with Jacob about his experience in Montreal making Team Canada and bowling two perfect games in the past week.

The Canucks blew a 3 goal first-period lead in a 5-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.  As well, we talk about which Imoo family member has the biggest trade value.

The Canucks battled back from a couple of two-goal deficits but their lack of defensive discipline did them in, resulting in a 7-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.  Three dozen of us watched the game together at my meet up at Monkey 9 Brewing.

Led by Andrei Kuzmenko and Elias Pettersson, the Canucks defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-2.  As well, Jacob finished third at the bowling national team trials and made Team Canada for the second consecutive year.

The Canucks are now 2 games under .500 and their schedule only gets tougher from here.  As well, I talk about the big win for the Canadian Juniors, and Jacob's strong performance in day 1 of the National Team Trials for bowling.

The Canucks blew a first period lead and fell to the visiting New York Islanders by a score of 6-2.  Defensive turnovers were the story of the game. 

The Canucks had an eventful day: they practiced in their black flying skate gear, JT Miller made some interesting comments to media while defending his play, and the Canucks are apparently interested in Rangers forward Alexis Lafreniere.

We're ringing in the New Year by talking about New Years resolutions and traditions.  Also, an impromptu appearance by my daughter Kayla.

The Canucks dropped back to .500 with their 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. All people will remember from the game is JT Miller throwing a tantrum at Collin Delia when Delia was slow to get to the Canucks bench for the extra attacker.

Bo Horvat notched 4 points in his second consecutive game, and Ilya Mikheyev added 4 points of his own in the Canucks' 6-2 win over the San Jose Sharks.
