My son Sean joins me to recap an eventful night at Rogers Arena: the Canucks revealed their new Flying Skate jerseys, the club paid tribute to Gino Odjick, Steven Stamkos had a hat trick to go over the 500 goal mark, and the Canucks lost 5-2 to the Lightning.

Jim Rutherford made waves yesterday when he said that he'd rather retool the Canucks than rebuild.    Do you think Canucks fans are truly patient enough to endure a full rebuild?

Canucks President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford answered questions from reporters this morning, and touched on everything from Bo Horvat to Bruce Boudreau to the team's dire salary cap situation.

The Canucks defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3 in a shootout today to end off their five game road trip with a record of 1-4.  As well, fan favourite Gino Odjick passed away today from a heart attack at the young age of 52.  May he rest in peace.

The Canucks lost 5-4 to the Tampa Bay Lightning to hit the half-way point of the season at 17-21-3.  Oliver Ekman-Larsson was scratched for the first time since joining the Canucks, and Tanner Pearson will be shut down for the rest of the season.

We took a break from Canucks talk and chatted with Jacob about his experience in Montreal making Team Canada and bowling two perfect games in the past week.

The Canucks blew a 3 goal first-period lead in a 5-4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.  As well, we talk about which Imoo family member has the biggest trade value.

The Canucks battled back from a couple of two-goal deficits but their lack of defensive discipline did them in, resulting in a 7-4 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.  Three dozen of us watched the game together at my meet up at Monkey 9 Brewing.

Led by Andrei Kuzmenko and Elias Pettersson, the Canucks defeated the Colorado Avalanche 4-2.  As well, Jacob finished third at the bowling national team trials and made Team Canada for the second consecutive year.

The Canucks are now 2 games under .500 and their schedule only gets tougher from here.  As well, I talk about the big win for the Canadian Juniors, and Jacob's strong performance in day 1 of the National Team Trials for bowling.
