Professional freestyle skier and multi-hyphenate talent: Monster Energy’s Clayton Vila has won awards as an athlete and filmmaker. Now the 30-year-old L.A. transplant shares his unique origin story on UNLEASHED with our hosts, The Dingo and Danny.

Against the odds, Clayton Vila grew up on an island off the coast of Rhode Island and still became a groundbreaking freeski athlete. His unique niche: Self-published online videos that generated millions of views, including 2008’s “Clayton Vila Shreds Block Island”. Vila also boasts an X Games bronze medal from the 2016 Real Ski video competition. His debut as a filmmaker, the documentary “For Lack of Better”, was named Film of the Year at the Powder Awards in 2015 and he produces commercials and films with the world’s best athletes.
