Placing the question "Does God exist?" at the center of his first feature length film came naturally for writer-director Ian Ebright. After crafting multiple thoughtful short films about morality and the social contracts that bind (or unbind) us, he delivers a powerful look at what pride, grief, and certainty can do to a person. Starring Patrick Fabian (of Better Call Saul fame) and a brilliant ensemble cast,The Way We Speak offers a sharp and humbling look at the modern man and the lengths he may go to in order to be seen and heard.

On March 2nd, 2021, Trans Mountain Pipeline (TMX) and the Crown corporation known as Canada sent Stacy Gallagher to prison for performing peaceful ceremony along the Trans Mountain Pipeline route. The Crown sentenced him to 90 days, but his partner Rita Wong managed to get him released on bail and granted leave to appeal his sentence.
