Today we are speaking with Dr. Emily Sbiroli, a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician based in Southern California. She has expertise in climate medicine, healthcare sector decarbonization, and clinician education in these issues. She holds a Diploma in Climate Medicine from the University of Colorado and completed the National Physician Fellowship in Climate and Health Science Policy in 2022. She serves as course director for the University of Colorado’s Sustainable Health Systems curriculum, and consults on healthcare climate mitigation for US, Latin American, and Caribbean health systems.
