The Clippers were possibly taking the Pelicans for granted as they have won just one game in the month of Dec and only 5 all season. But the Pels still with out Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram came to play leading after 1 37-31 and at the break 62-56. The Clippers chipped away in the 3rd winning that qtr 31-28 and Norm Powell hit a big game tying bucket in the 4th  with 3:33 to go. He finished with 35 James Harden had 27 including the game winning points that came on a pair of free-throws. 116-113 the final.
