Jessica is back for round 4. This time her and I are getting a bit local. John Mellencamp was born, raised and still lives here in Indiana. When he had his massive breakout in “Hurts So Good” off his American Fool album, he was just John Cougar.

Here about his name evolutions as well as Jessica’s personal anecdotes of crossing paths with him since she works in radio. It’s a fun little episode from a music video that doesn’t off a whole lot.
