Jennifer Wreyford wraps up summer camp here on The Summer of ’82 at 40 with the lead off single from The Go-Go’s sophomore effort called “Vacation”. Sure, youngins might recognize this as part of Marvel’s Spider-Man Far From Home but The Go-Go’s are far from being well known just from that movie.

This coincides with the week that Fast Times at Ridgemont High released and their big, defining single “We Got The Beat” so perfectly launched that film. Jennifer and I talk The Go-Go’s, a little bit of their drama, and some more about Fast Times as she bids adieu to ’82!
