  • Story of a Soul Survivor

This week we will be looking into the case of Grim Sleeper, a serial killer that terrorized South Central Los Angeles. Over a period of two decades, he murdered at least nine women and attempted to murder Eneitra Washington. The Grim Sleeper caused trauma to not only his victims, survivors included, but the families and community he was a member of.

If you don't get anything else from this case, get this- Black Women are the least protected humans in this world.

  • All in the Family

This week we will be diving into the case of Clementine Barnabet, the first African American serial killer. Though she was only convicted of one slaying, she claimed to have brought an end to almost 35 lives. Even in the early 1900's this case caused a news frenzy, from the notoriety of her being a Black murderess to the mention of strange voodoo practices.

After reading and preparing for this case, my conclusion may be a little cloudy.

  • What Happened in the Boom Boom Room?

Ginger Fleischli was a young woman, whose life was tragically taken from her. But by who? The evidence presented in this case might bring more questions than answers, and by the time we get close to the answer, another murder was carried out.

After reading and preparing for this case, I think my conclusion may be a little cloudy.

  • Trick or Treat, Smell my.. Breath?

In the spirit of dropping during the spooky month, I decided to present a true crime story that occurred in the early evening of Halloween night, 1974.

Eight-year-old Timothy O'Bryan was excited to dig into his haul of candy from a great evening of trick or treating, with his family and friends. After eating dinner, washing up for bed, he was finally ready to choose his treasured pick of candy as his nighttime treat. However, he would not ever get the chance to eat the rest of his candy.

After reading and preparing for this case, I think the conclusion is still a little cloudy.
