This week, Elyse and Laurent sit down to recap the events of the past week, including the Pasadena Showcase House, Design LA, one incredible dinner celebrating designer Kendall Wilkinson's new interior design book Beauty All Around (and two not-so-great dinners out in LA), and some opinions about the Met Gala.
Laurent Rebuffel of Kimberly Denman Inc and budding designer Elyse Cizek share their opinions about dining in LA, their hot and cold reactions to the rooms in the Pasadena Showcase House, and the new Design LA event that replaced LCDQ Legends.
This episode was filmed on-location at Kimberly Denman Showroom in Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA.

World renowned lighting designer Jonathan Browning and his right hand (left brained) engineer and designer Kyle Urbaniak sit down with Elyse to chat about their many channels of inspiration, the importance of innovative tech in lighting design, and how travel and historical study have transformed the way they see the importance of quality, and style, in interior design. This interview is the last of our LIVE! series from DeSousa Hughes Showroom. Check out our previous episodes with John (and Ann) Pomp, and Alison Berger. This week, Elyse and Laurent sit down with legendary glassworker and designer John Pomp at the DeSousa Hughes showroom in San Francisco to talk life, the creative process, and how his art teacher and mentor, as well as Erik Hughes and Geoffrey De Sousa of DeSousa Hughes, helped forge him into the creator he is today.

John Pomp is a known personality within the design community. Like his work, his career was forged in fire. From a punk kid in Philly, to a Brooklyn-based renowned glass and metal artist, to a now husband and father with a team of 50 people inside a 65,000sqft creative space in Philadelphia, John Pomp holds almost nothing back.
During this interview, our guest is joined by his wife and business partner, Ann Pomp, in an interview that is unlike anything Clutter Bravado has done before!

This week, Elyse and Laurent take a social media break, and Jason Kalman walks us through his career from industrial design and finance, to working with legendary designer Kelly Wearstler, to partnering with James Magni to form Magni Kalman, a leading modern interior design firm and product line.
While some interior designers lead with story, Kalman begins with a checklist. Creating a home for his clients requires understanding of both form and function: from whether they read enough for a reading light, or work at home enough for office privacy, Jason focuses on the left-brain analytical approach to the art of interior design.

Should AI and VR become staples of the Interior Design Industry?
This week, Laurent and Elyse are joined in LA by San Francisco designer Kendall Wilkinson to talk about her design evolution and the natural progression of tech and integration of technology in the interior design process. On the heels of releasing her first book, Kendall and Laurent reminisce about how the industry operated 30 years ago, and how elements of that process should maybe never change.

This week, Elyse and Laurent sit down with LA Design legend Robert Steloff to talk Romance.
In a world dominated by online shopping and digital renderings, what happens when we slow down and truly engage with interior design? In this episode of Clutter Bravado, we sit down with renowned designer Robert Steloff to explore the lost art of experiencing design in person—what we’re calling the romance of interior design.
From the tactile pleasure of running your hand across a handcrafted wood table to the personal connection formed when meeting skilled furniture makers, Robert shares why in-person experiences, sensory design, and artisanal craftsmanship are essential to creating meaningful interiors. We discuss the importance of high-quality materials, custom furniture, and intentional home design, as well as why a space can’t be fully appreciated through a screen.
If you’re a design enthusiast, homeowner, or interior professional looking to reconnect with authentic, timeless, and experiential interior design, this conversation will change the way you see—and feel—your home.

This week, Elyse and Laurent sit down with Save Iconic Architecture founders Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield to discuss the massive task of rebuilding the Pacific Palisades and Altadena neighborhoods affected by the 2025 Los Angeles Fires. Referencing the 1945 Arts + Architecture Magazine Case Study Project that tasked historic architects like Charles Eames and Richard Neutra with creating reasonable, reproducible, and sustainable housing for a new age, SIA aims to create a rebuilding effort that can maintain and expand upon the iconic heritage and culture of Los Angeles architecture for communities in need of immediate solutions after the devastating loss following the LA fires.
How can LA rebuild without sacrificing architectural integrity, community culture, and heritage? Save Iconic Architecture believes collaboration and knowledge of Los Angeles History may be the solution.
