The spectacular truth that God has chosen to cleanse Gentiles as well as Jews, through faith in Jesus Christ, should call forth from us a response of awestruck praise, deep humility, and impartial evangelism. 

God wants His people to be passionate, not apathetic, and passionate about His Son and His Son’s church, not about other things. 

The conversion of souls and the growth of Christ’s church are proof positive signs that the hope of the resurrection is sure, comforting our hearts in death and strengthening our hearts to persevere in gospel work. 

Jesus Christ himself continues to reveal God’s glory through the polarizing witness of his church. 

When the ministry of the gospel is faithfully promoted by every member of the Church, we should expect both increased fruitfulness and increased opposition. 

The church is the true object of God’s love and the light of the world, proven by her fervent love for her members and her mission resilience amid deadly opposition. 

Satan wants to bring down the church, not only through outside persecution but through sin from within, for a diseased tree cannot bear good fruit – but God is faithful. 

Opposition to gospel work should strengthen us to boldly (and joyfully) press on with that work through the power of God’s Spirit and confidence in God’s plan. 

The New Testament church joyfully sacrificed herself by courageously and tenaciously proclaiming the gospel despite deadly opposition because of all it means to be in Christ. 

Messiah brings seasons of refreshing to all who believe by blotting out sins & abiding with us while we wait for the Messianic restoration of all things.
