Just as the Apostolic church fulfilled Christ’s Great Commission through Spirit-empowered Gospel preaching, so we also must have this as our singular focus.

The Church’s mission is the same as God’s original redemptive purpose seen in creation: to bring in the victorious reign of the risen Christ over his sinless new creation shared with his blood-washed bride.

We must have missile lock when it comes to the mission of the church, for to be off even a few degrees will not only marginalize but ultimately sabatoge the church and her mission on earth.

All Christians have work to do for the Kingdom, just like Paul.

We must boast only in the cross of Christ, since it is only through the cross that we are freed from this world’s enslavement and made new creatures in Christ.

The walk of freedom, the walk in the realm of the Spirit is a walk of love, characterized by humility and generosity, especially toward the brethren.

Christians, under grace and Spirit not law and flesh, are commanded to walk in the realm of that grace and that Spirit, which is to walk in love for the brethren.

True freedom is the freedom, not to continue to indulge the damning appetites of the flesh, but to love God’s people, the church of Christ.

Believers in Christ must seek to live free from the Law’s bondage by heeding the Law’s lesson: that justification & life in the Spirit come by faith in the promise and not by works of the law.

We must remember what God has done for us in Christ—redeeming us from slavery and adopting us as sons—to protect ourselves from a foolish return to slavery.
