To misdefine “neighbor” is not only to confuse the gospel fruit necessary for eternal life, but to confuse greatly the mission of the church.

The walk of freedom, the walk in the realm of the Spirit is a walk of love, characterized by humility and generosity, especially toward the brethren.

Christians, under grace and Spirit not law and flesh, are commanded to walk in the realm of that grace and that Spirit, which is to walk in love for the brethren.

True freedom is the freedom, not to continue to indulge the damning appetites of the flesh, but to love God’s people, the church of Christ.
