To be saved from God’s wrath, we must trust in the Messiah who saves God’s people and restores all creation.

To avoid shame in judgment and to dwell securely with God both now & forever, we must trust completely in God’s Messiah, the cornerstone and righteous King.

God’s judgment of the nations proves it is vain to seek security in anything but His promise to deliver His people from sin and death and to establish His holy nation over all the earth.

God's mercy is the only thing that can stave of God's justice

God is angry with His people for prostituting His glorious love and yet, He shows Isaiah a vision of Messiah who will come to save His people from their infidelity.

Our greatest need is hope, especially given our eternal liability for sin, and only the Prince of Peace offers such hope through his purifying and substitutionary death on the cross.

If we are to resist being deluded by earthly wisdom, we must posses the true wisdom of God, Jesus Christ, and walk in Him.

Self-control takes more than targeting the surface tumors of sin: real progress is proportional to tearing down the high places deep in our hearts.

If we’re to make substantial progress in our faith in 2010, we must get deadly serious about the Spirit’s fruit of self-control.

Joy that outweighs any present heartache or hardship comes to believers who focus by faith on the nearly incomprehensible bliss that will be ours when Jesus returns in triumph.
