The House select committee investigating the January 6th Capitol attack has subpoenaed Rudy Guiliani and three others.  

Guiliani, former President Donald Trump’s former attorney, traveled the country and worked behind the scenes to pressure state lawmakers to overturn the 2020 presidential election results by falsely claiming there was widespread voter fraud, which there is no evidence of. 

Guiliani and another attorney have previously argued information about their work related to Trump should stay confidential.   

This raises the possibility of a fight over privileges with the House.

AT&T announced Tuesday that it would delay activating 5G on some towers around certain airports. The wireless technology's rollout near major airports had been scheduled for Wednesday, but airlines warned of dire consequences for transportation and the economy.

Microsoft on Tuesday announced plans to acquire Activision Blizzard, the video game studio behind hits “World Of Warcraft” and “Call Of Duty,” in a blockbuster deal worth nearly $70 billion. It's one of the biggest acquisitions in the tech industry in recent years, one that will boost Microsoft's standing in the growing gaming industry but could be complicated by recent concerns about Activision's toxic culture.  

 
The all-cash transaction is valued at $68.7 billion, and Microsoft says it will make the company the third-largest gaming company by revenue, after Tencent and Sony. The agreement is pending regulatory review and Activision Blizzard shareholder approval.

An elite FBI hostage rescue team breached a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, Saturday night, safely recovering three remaining captives after a nearly 11-hour hostage situation, federal and local officials said.

The lone suspect, identified by the FBI as 44-year-old Malik Faisal Akram, is dead, authorities said. The FBI confirmed Akram is a British citizen.

Tennis star Novak Djokovic has left Australia without contesting the Australian Open after losing a legal challenge against a decision revoking his visa for the second time.

Djokovic departed on an Emirates flight from Melbourne on Sunday but his ultimate destination is not yet known.

In a virtual hearing earlier on Sunday, three Federal Court judges unanimously dismissed Djokovic's application to overturn the immigration minister's decision to cancel his visa, but did not publish reasons for the ruling.
