Shortt Tuesday! Coach Michael Shortt was along for the ride on Coach & Friends. They shared biscuits from Sassy’s, and Coach Herron got introduced to smoked bologna for the first time. Nap stopped by to grade the pound cake and share stories from his weed eating and spraying adventures.

Coach Jerry Weems joined Coach Kris Herron to kick off a brand new week. The two recapped their weekend and shared highlights from their visit to high school media days. They also welcomed a special in-studio guest, Mr. Stephen Arline, the new band director for the Clay Central Marching Volunteers. Mr. Arline talked about his journey, what brought him back to Clay County, and how things are shaping up as band camp moves into its second week. Heath Bone stopped by with a moving update as the big day is fast approaching.

The Barber, David Nolen, steered Coach & Friends into the weekend. They dove into new water bottle rules popping up in schools and touched on some surprising late-night changes coming to CBS. The guys even got into a surprisingly deep conversation about straws (straight or bendy) and what size straw gets the job done. They wrapped up the week reflecting on stories tied to the Titanic.

Get Up with Giddens! Coach Steve Giddens was back on the bike thanks to a little push from his kids. They talked about dermatologist visits and the strange things we find, timber cutting and why some trees are left behind. Coach Mike Welsh, the Superintendent of Cherokee County Schools and proud Rock Run resident, joined in studio to share stories from his hometown and reflect on his 35-year journey in education.

They explored the meaning behind Lady Justice atop the courthouse. Bill "Bubba" Bussey joined the conversation. Listeners dropped by with treats and showed off their feet and toes or the lack thereof. The guys also discussed how military technology has developed and influenced everyday life.

Coach Kris Herron had Coach Jerry Weems along to embark upon a new week. The duo recapped what they got into over the weekend. Chance Jones, the Executive Director of the Clay County Economic Development Council, stopped by the studio to talk about what’s happening across the county, share his go-to karaoke song, and offer a few words on motivation.

The Barber, David Nolen, took the top off of the day. Dave talked about the development he has seen over the years in Auburn and Ashland. Don Crawford joined the conversation, sharing stories about Blue’s Car Wash & Lube, his time in Tuscaloosa, high school basketball days, and memories from thirty years ago.

Get Up with Giddens! Coach Steve Giddens helped tip off the show. He talked about a stuck mower that caused him some trouble. The guys also discussed an Alabama city council receiving a fond farewell and shared stories about a few items being moved out of the basement.
