Chosen family has been gifted not only to me but to many of us who have felt a sting of rejection by the family we are born with. Relationships come & go and it’s a blessing to get to a point of having both families be a part of our colorful lives. An undercurrent wave of discontent can lead to a breaking point. But a current of satisfaction, honesty & thoughtfulness can be the ingredients needed for a relationship of love & respect.

The feeling when one is slipping away theoretically or actually is a card to be dealt with. Because the emotion in the shadow of that feeling can be a wild card.
