It's Halloween!  What are the hottest places around Sacramento to Trick Or Treat? We have the list.  Tom remembers a not pleasant Halloween and a listener who used to live in Fiddletown has a great story that involves a bear coat, a hat, some teenagers and and an axe (nobody got hurt but a couple of someones needed a wardrobe change!).  And, tips for tonight when the kids comes to your door.  Happy Halloween! 

Ever forget a password?  Frustrating!  Thankfully there is sometimes a help desk you can call or email.  But how much of a help are they really??   There are 2 types of people:  those who like candy corn, and those who hate it.  Today is national candy corn day and we found out something that changed one of our opinions of candy corn.  Will it change yours?  Tomorrow is Halloween and we found the most haunted places around Sacramento.  Bet you've been to at least 1 of them.  A 3 year old belts out an iconic rock song and she's actually pretty good! .

Election Day is a week from tomorrow.  Can you figure out the county supplement?  This is like a 3 hour take home exan.  BUT we have a way to simplify it for you :)  The World Series ended last night with Boston winning and for the second straight year the Dodgers were the runner up.  Nobody trolls dodger fans like giants fans (and vice versa) and here's proof!   Today's Good Stuff travels to Detroit and a 3 year old boy named Blake.  Blake was born without a left hand.  What happened to him yesterday will have you smiling!  Oh, and some guy named Kane Brown is playing our Christmas show.  Limited tickets are on sale for this (only 1,000)  and they're $30 at kncifm.com 

Cody is in England (specifically London) for the next week.  We hope she has such a great time that she wants to repeat it some day.  So we filled out our Cody in England Bingo card with many of your suggestions.  One of them took us by surprise!   A city in North Carolina is banning a certain type of Halloween candy.  Not because it' might hurt you or is harmful, but because "No One Likes Them, Don't Give Them Out!"  So we asked, do you like them or not?  And while we're on the subject of Halloween there's movement to move it from Oct 31st to the neartest Saturday.  Again we asked, what do you think?  The results were surprising!  

We may not have won the .lottery but we did receive some good karma!! At least it looks that way....what do you think?  Halloween is a week from tonight: would you buy a house that you liked if you knew it was haunted?   In today's Good Stuff, a six year old boy in Phoenix has a birthday party.  His mom invited 40 people.  No one came.  The picture of this cute little guy at a big table all by himself surrounded by pizzas, a big cake and a lot of empty chairs is heartbreaking.  It does have a good ending.  The Phoenix Suns (basketball) is putting six year old Teddy and his family courtside for tonight's game. Teddy will also get to meet and hang out with the players ahead of time.  And since tonight's game is against the Lakers maybe he'll meet LeBron?!  And finally, onre more thought about the lottery.  The winning ticket was sold in South Carolina where you have the right no matter how much you win to stay anonymous.  If you won and if you could, would you stay anonymous?  Both Pat and Tom say yes, but Cody says no.  Find out the many great reasons she has for wanting to make it as public as possible. 

A man in San Diego sued a Scary Haunted House because it was too...... yikes!  Is there a scary movie that you either don't watch or avoid?  Tonight's Mega Millions is not just our country's biggest lottery jackpot, it's the world' biggest lottery jackpot.  Guess who has never bought a lottery ticket before?!  So, we sent him out to get a couple and gain a new life experience.  While NFL teams are very expensive, and baseball teams are expensive, there is on pro basketball team that if you hit the $1.6 billion jackpot you could buy and still have plenty of money left over!  Which one do you think it is? 

One of the best moments of Saturday's Downtown Chowdown is when Chris Janson brought 8 year old JJ on stage to help out with a song.  The kid nailed it!  Pat got corned by 2 older guys who probably had too much celebration ahead of time and the result was pretty entertaining.  Cody talked to her ex...what??  And the number one movie in America over the weekend is "Halloween," which features an actress from Sacramento....how cool is that?!  And Pat's son Lucas might know her a little (although it took a more than a little to convince his college buddies). 

When we started this morning at 5am the Mega Millions jackpot was $970 million.  Before we got off the air at 10am it was a billion and climbing.  If we would happen to win (not gonna happen but go with it), one of us would immediately hire a lawyer and stay quiet, another would hide out for awhile, and one of us would throw a party.  Who's who on this?  A boy in Natomas celebrates being 5 years of being cancer free with a shopping spree where he bought as much stuff for others as he did himself.  And the government has issued a Halloween warning for a certain animal.....& you're not gonna believe which one.  

Drive around Sacramento long enough and you'll agree with a new survey that just came out:  we have some of the worst roads in the nation!  What road in Sacramento do you do your best to avoid?  Wanna carve a pumpkin to look like your favorite country artist?  We have a way for you to do that.  Today we took on the glut of politcal ads by having people take the last text you sthey out and making that their campaign slogan.  Some of the answers were outstanding!  And we found out that Pat's dad and Dierk's Bentley have a very similar parenting method. It worked for one really well, not so much for the other.
