Cody and Joe

Nobody won last night's Mega Millions meaning that Friday's drawing will be for a record jackpot $868 million.  Pat and Tom can't seem to win....and there's a good reason for that.   Halloween is 2 weeks from tonight.  What scares you?  Tom's answer makes sense, Pat's might be more out of frustration and Cody's should surprise no one!  The Kings first game is tonight at the Golden 1 Center and there are many new food items, including 2 that Pat and Cody are drooling over.  And believe it or not, 7% of all Americans, that would be roughly 16 million people, believe one thing to be true.  Hint:  it's something you've probably joked about at one point in your life.  And really, how gullible can you be?! 

High winds have PG&E voluntarily turning off power to many areas in the foothills.  What does that mean for people in Placer and El Dorado County?  Tom says this part of a relationship is overrated.  Pat agrees.  Cody does not.  What is it?  Listen and see what you think.  And today's Good Stuff stays right here in Sacramento.  It has to do with a 15 year old Sacramento young man who's just been declared cancer free and the Sacramento Republic FC soccer team.  I'm not crying, you're crying. 

Two examples of why Cody is the smart one on the show.  One has to do with her ninja like cia skills.  The other is flat out academics....or at least we think.  Pat has an emotional message for you, and a high schooler tries to ask a girl out George Strait style ( "A" for effort on this one).  

Tom's back and he's healthy....although we did prepare in case he didn't make it back today.   Cody's headed to London (minus a boyfriend to see) and that actually is better.  Plus she's going to catch a football game at Wembley Stadium.  We called ahead to check on tickets and ended up getting love advice from the ticket person at Wembley (and she's pretty wise!) 

A pumpkin patch right here in Sacramento was just ranked as the 2nd best pumpkin patch in America!!  Have you been to it?  Cody gets confused about daylight savings time (hate math!).  Maybe it's because of the breakup with the british guy.  Her payback, I mean move of selling his new shoes which he left behind on ebay, may payoff handsomely.  Then again, there might be payback .... I mean karma, for that move.  And would you go trick or treating if there was a possibility of getting arrested?  

Did a major pizza chain really serve frozen pizza??  Have you ever lost something valuable and months later found it?  That happened to two men in different cities at exactly the same time.  Total worth of their "new" findings: $2.75 million!  Cody gets a little payback on her British ex-boyfriend who dumped her.  And Garth Brooks is doing a really cool thing to help provide college scholarships.   Oh, one more thing. Tonight's MegaMillions is worth $470 million!!  good luck. 

What was that big bright moving thing in the sky last night?  There were A LOT of people who saw it and posted to fb and twitter including the Brothers Osborne!  Do you have anybody you work with who does stuff you can't believe? (in a bad way).  We do!  And guess what the lastest is.?!  There are a bunch of adults who plan on getting together on Halloween and going Trick Or Treating.  Is that okay?  Would you give them candy?  And guess who showed up at yesterday's 49ers game?  He could have sung the National Anthem and suited  up! 

There is such a thing as a squirrel census.....really.  And it starts tomorrow in Central Park, New York!!  Speaking of New York, an Oakland A's fan who is from Oakland but now lives in New York went to the A's vs Yankees playoff game at Yankee Stadium and had a beer poured on him by a Yankee's fan.  What the A's did next is fantastic!  Ever tell a white lie?  Maybe to save someon's feelings"  71% of you say it's okay to do, 29% say no way, under no circumstance.  Tom took that to heart and called his wife to fess up (but does he really?!)  

Cody and her British boyfriend broke up.  And she had a trip booked to London to spend a week with him.  She doesn't know if she should still go or not.  She got a ton of support and most people are saying Go!  Rick from Roseville went through almost the exact same thing.  Wait 'til you hear his story.  Today is National Taco Day!  Besides a lot of taco deals today there are some really great, unusual taco combinations and we've got those for you.  259 people have died from......selfies!  And 72% of those people have 2 things in common (okay, counting stupidity maybe 3). 

Remember the internet debate over the dress....is it blue or is it gold?  Another popped up today.  Is it a mountain lion or a dog.  A tv reporter in Utah was doing a live shot early this morning (so it's dark) and this creature slowly walks by.  She (the reporter) is a total pro. But the question remains:  is it a mountain lion or a dog?  One of us says dog, 2 say mt lion.  What do you think? (video is on our fb page).  Tom lost his sunglasses.  They're expensive.  He will probably not replace them. Any guesses as to why?  What country artist is coming to play the Ace Of Spades in November at $39.50 a ticket?  Hint: you could have seen him last week for only $20.  Finallly, it's national boyfriend day and Cody is not celebrating (with good reason!).
