On this episode of Coffee And A Car Ride I rant about something that I find quiet annoying. That topic is the fake patriotism Republicans and Trump supporters spout to be Americana. The patriotism built on the lie that the election was stolen from Trump. The same patriotism that allows them to excuse the treason committed by their fellow party member on January 6th. This time we’ll pour a fresh cup and drive down the road of discussing the importance of Pre K, and the Biden Administration’s plan to provide it for free. We will discuss the fact that it helps kids not grow up to become a scumbags. I will rant about how Pre K teaches children important skills and the fact that we as a society should support the Biden Administration’s plan to provide free Pre K for all kids. 81,000 overdose deaths occurred during the pandemic. An uptake during an epidemic, a health crisis that has been raging like a herpes flare-up. This unsightly blemish, which is more like Leprosy than a horrible skin rash, is something that has been overlooked and forgotten. What is even more tragic is many of those overdoses are accidental due to other drugs like coke having Fentanyl mixed in like it a batch of jungle juice. As horrible as the loss is it is also a perfect example of why there is a reason to legalize drugs. In this episode, I will be going along with the the theme of drug decriminalization/legalization, and ranting about this crisis.

As the trials for those who participated in the January 6th insurrection begin, evidence is beginning to surface that proves that those people are guilty. Much of that evidence was produced by the accused. Those pieces of evidence coming to light, the accused, like the QAnon Shaman, are begging for mercy for what many would call the treason they committed. On todays episode I will be ranting about that.

When the winter cold front hit Texas, Ted Cruz and his family fled, just like the immigrants coming here. They ran to Mexico to escape the natural disaster. Well, he caught crap for it and came back. Then Biden and a renewed border crisis came along and Ted got a second wind. Just like a typical republican, he then went after Biden for the same issues Trump allowed despite behaving exactly like those who are coming to this nation. I rant about that on this episode.

In this turbulent time, where we are still so divided, I discovered a story that offered hope. It was a story about two relatives on opposite sides of the country, and political spectrums, connecting and forming a bond of respect despite their differences. Now while that is inspiring, it is also ripe for comedy. In this episode, I will be ranting about that.
