This week's special episode has us surprising each other with our top reads that we've read together this year! Will we actually be surprised? Who knows!

It's our last week with The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch and we're reading chapters 17-22. This week, everything comes to a boiling point! Nick is in a love phase and living his most joyful life. Then Santa discovers what he's been planning and everything hits the fan! Hex and Nick get real about their relationship and Hex has to leave. Santa threatens Nick and Kris but Nick doesn't back down this time. Then we see what a royal Christmas wedding is really like!

It's week 3 with The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sarah Raasch and we're reading chapters 12-16. This week, Coal and crew devise a plan to stop his dad from taking other's joy, they take an unsolicited visit to the town where Coal hears some things he doesn't want to hear, and Coal forces the nobles to watch some Christmas rom-coms. Oh yeah...and Coal and Hex get jiggy with it.

It's week 2 with The Nightmare Before Kissmass by Sara Raasch and we're reading chapters 6-11. This week, Nick learns some uncomfortable truths about what his father has been doing to Christmas, especially to Hex and he is NOT happy about it. He also can't seem to stay away from the Prince of Halloween, and the two of them get closer!

Its our first week with this month's book The Nightmare Before Kissmass by Sara Raasch and we're reading chapters 1-5. This week we meet our main characters, a brother duo who are the princes of Christmas. Nick aka Coal is a screw-up and makes a huge mistake before having a life-altering make-out session with a random in an alley. Two years later he finds out his father, Santa Daddy, has orchestrated his betrothal to his bestie - the Princess of Easter. But Halloween isn't happy with that and sends their own Prince to get in on the betrothal business and it turns out this prince, is Nick's make-out partner!

It's our last week with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and we're reading chapters 52-end! This week, Andarna shows she can protect Violet just as well as Tairn, Violet, and Cat find common ground. Violet realizes that Xaden is hiding yet another secret but vows to stay by his side anyway. They get the wards up at Aretia but there's a problem with them - and General Melgren calls for help!

It's week 4 with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and we're reading chapters 40-52. This week, Violet has to deal with a jealous ex both in her space and in her head, and Xaden has to alleviate her worries....on his throne! Meanwhile, Violet and Dain start to mend the rift between them as they research ways to get the wards working, and when Violet figures everything out, she hangs on to that information to respect the gryphon riders that are now a part of her squad.

Its week 3 with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and we're reading chapters 27-39. This week, Violet deals with the consequences of abandoning class, aka Xaden.....in a shower....and Varrish being terrible. They pull off an Ocean's Eleven heist before Violet has to put her interrogation and torture skills to the test. Finally, her and Xaden make a decision that effects the entire class at school!

It's week 2 with Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros and we're reading chapters 13-26 this week! This week, Violet and Xaden get used to travelling back and forth to see each other and the distance grates on both of them. Violet wants Xaden's honesty and he wants her trust. Violet continues to be tested at school while Varrish interferes, giving her more attention and punishment than necessary. Violet then puts it all on the line when she hears that Xaden is injured!
