This week, Aelin and crew catch up with Ansel and make plans for the future - while also getting jiggy with it and figuring out the secret of the mirror! Meanwhile, Chaol and Yrene also get jiggy with it but then Chaol feels bad about it and takes it out on Yrene while she actually figures out how to heal him. Nesryn and Sartaq find out some information that will literally change the course of the war, cause they're bosses.

This week, Aelin and crew make it to the weird marshes and find the "lock" which has us have an in depth discussion about furniture for some reason. Lorcan and Elide make it to Aelin and must have had some interesting conversations off page because we think they're in love? Lorcan makes the ultimate sacrifice for his baby girl Elide. Nesryn and Sartaq are investigating the Spider mountains and get caught in a web, while Chaol and Yrene keep falling in love...oh yeah, and Chaol is TERRIBLE at court politics.

It's week 6 with our tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn by Sarah J Maas and this week is an all-EoS week! We're reading chapters 37-51. This week, Aelin finally gets acquainted with Rowan's "velvet-wrapped steel" but not before everyone completely overlooks how badass Lysandra is. Lorcan finally learns who Elide really is and she is almost taken back to Morath a couple of times but Lorcan saves her! Manon gets dropped in Dorian's lap by Abraxos and they hang on to her for a while so she can heal and they can get some info on their enemies. Meanwhile, Abraxos is the new ship cat.

This week, Manon tries to run away from Erawan with Abraxos' help but she meets up with another one of his creations. Yrene and Chaol make progress on healing, and on feelings for each other while Nesryn also gets real friendly with Sartaq. Aelin finally meets up with Rowan and crew in Skulls Bay and plays tricks on Rolfe and Aedion needs to make a decision about his father!

This week, Yrene doesn't hide what she thinks of Chaol, but agrees to heal him anyways and they start to understand each other a little better. The Torre Cesme is attacked but not before Yrene finds the exact info on the valg that she needs! Rowan teaches Dorian how to control his power, and calls Aelin his heart! Manon has to pay for the life of Iskra's sentinal with a member of the 13! Meanwhile, Aelin, Aedion and Lysandra liberate a town in Terrassen before meeting up with ghost Brannon and creepy Erawan!

We are reunited with the whole gang this week! Aelin and crew get back to Terrassen but they aren't welcomed back the way they thought they would be. Dorian isn't King for long before the witches take back Adarlan and he is forced to flee, but not before Manon saves him from a witch sentinal. Chaol and Nesryn show up on the Southern Continent and are not super well-received, and Elide meets up with the fae warrior Lochan and they decide to work together to make it where they need to go!

It's our last week with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and we're reading chapters 24-30. This week, we deal with the aftermath of the "red coronation" where Balekin tried to have himself crowned High King but it didn't work out for him and all but Carden is dead. Jude figures out crucial information about Oriana and Oak and sets her plan in motion to save all of Faerie from Balekin's rule.

It's week 3 with The Cruel Prince by Holly Black and we're reading chapters 18-24. This week, Jude has a run in with Prince Dain - but not for the reason she thinks. He makes her test her loyalty and it isn't pretty. Valerian wants retribution for being stabbed by Jude, but he's way out of his league. The coronation happens and Jude deals with her own version of the Red Wedding. She finally also figures out who Taryn's secret love is, and it causes a rift between the sisters!
