In this episode of Coffee and Divination, I had the pleasure of sitting down with author, tarot reader, and witch Madame Pamita to explore the magic of tarot and how it can transform our lives. We discuss her wonderful book, Magical Tarot, which guides readers to use tarot as a tool for personal empowerment and magical growth. (I've already recommended the book to a number of friends and family interested in Tarot.) She shares her insights on developing divination skills, both personally and professionally, and provides thoughtful advice on how to use tarot and magic to create a more joyful, abundant life.
This was a wonderful conversation, and although the release has been delayed due to technical issues, I'm very glad to be able to share it now! I hope you enjoy listening.
Also, a quick announcement: My co-High Priestess of the North Wyldewood Coven, Denise Cruci, and I will be presenting at the Sacred Space Conference in March 2025. In the notes below, you can find full details and sign up to attend via their website.
As always, if you enjoy the show, please share with your friends and leave a 5-star review wherever you listen to this podcast! To get in touch with me, find the show on Instagram at @coffeeanddivination

Our guest for this episode is author and herbalist Coby Michael. Coby is the author of "The Poison Path: Baneful Herbs, Medicinal Nightshades, and Ritual Entheogens." During the episode we discuss the possibilities of magic and healing with plant allies in the Nightshade family, the links between fears of poison and the power of magical practices, and I greatly appreciated our conversation about these important, challenging topics.
Please note that in this episode, we discuss many dangerous, potentially toxic, even deadly plants. No one should interact with these plants or substances made from them without consulting a doctor or licensed physician, and nothing contained in this show constitutes medical advice or should be taken in the place of that advice. Please research these matters very carefully, and do not ingest or put things on your skin or in your lungs unless you have professional guidance and care. Neither myself nor anyone associated with this podcast is responsible for any adverse effects that come from using information from this episode.
With that in mind, enjoy the episode!

My guest on today's episode is the author, astrologer, wiccan Elder, and ritualist, Ivo Dominguez Jr. It was a pleasure to have him back on the show, as I've been an admirer of his work for years now, and thoroughly enjoy our conversations. In this episode we discuss psychic training, navigating our strengths and weaknesses in praxis and community, and, in the later parts of the interview, his perspectives on sun signs in astrology and magic. I deeply appreciate his work and insights, so I hope you enjoy this episode!

A fantastic conversation with two wonderful scholars - Christophe Poncet and Peter Mark Adams. We discuss their recent release for Scarlet Imprint: 'Two Esoteric Tarots.' The book (and our conversation) dives into the history of the Sola Busca tarot and the tarot de Marseille. We discuss their history, imagery, connections to one another, and their place in the occult worlds of Renaissance magic and philosophy.
I thoroughly enjoyed both their book, and our conversation together for this show!

Today's episode is an excellent chat with A.C. Stauble and Isaac Hill, two individuals who are both fellow magicians, permaculturalists, and podcast hosts. I've been a long-time fan of their show, the Plant Cunning Podcast, which highlights connections between herbalism, magic, permaculture, and the healing arts. Isaac is a permaculturalist with over a decade of experience gardening and cultivating a native plant nursery, as well as a Heathen practitioner and author. A.C. is a farmer, herbalist, community builder, and teacher. In today's interview, we discuss developing relationships with the Land and plant spirits, creating the Plant Cunning Conference they hosted this summer, and thoughts on the nature of healthy community connections in our lives.
Enjoy!

As we near the end of the year, it's a great time to talk about timing and astrology, and I'm happy to welcome astrologer and musician ZamboniFunk to the podcast to do just that. I've followed Zamboni's work for a few years now, and on the show today, we discuss the 'negatives and positives' of transits and challenging aspects in charts, eclipses, rhythm's relationship to magic, and much more. It's always a pleasure to talk with him, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! (If you're curious about the musical synchronization elements we discuss later in the show, I've included links to a few videos about that below.)

It's always a great pleasure to talk fortune-telling and omen logic with author and magician Gordon White. This conversation centered around his newly released Lenormand deck, "Fortune's Fools," which was co-created with the artist Colin Alexander. The "little white book" he wrote and included with the deck, discussing techniques of effective cartomancy (and which can be applied to much more than just Lenormand contexts,) was excellent to discuss with him in this episode. I hope you enjoy it!

A great chat and a very wonderful return to the show with geomancer, historian, author, and cunning practitioner Dr. Alexander Cummins! In this most wonderful October season, we spoke about folk necromancy, magic, Spirits of place, and making connections in our living landscapes with the help of our Ancestors and honored Dead.
Enjoy!
