Last season, goalkeeper Michelle Betos returned to Reign FC. She was with the team for the inaugural season in 2013 but then spent time at four different clubs before coming back in 2018. This season, she made 4 appearances and was pretty much entrenched as the starter while Lydia Williams was off at the World Cup. Then on May 18, her season came to an abrupt and tragic end as she ruptured her Achilles tendon.

It's very much a career-altering injury but Betos is determined to not let it outright end her career. And on this episode of the podcast, she gives an update on her road to recovery, her thoughts on the state of the club as they begin the second half of the campaign, and more.
